Very nice place, a little pricey, but the food was excellent! There were four of us, we all ordered something different and were all very satisfied with our meals. My sisters and I were celebrating my mom's 94th birthday, we were very happy we chose The Ox!

Good variety on the menu with good specials. Service was good, hostesses were fun and wait was minimal for the day and time. Food was very good. Bert specials were a bonus. Overall good food, good service, good value. Recommended.

This place has always been great in beverages, food & service. Food was always divine, always cooked to our liking. Top notch service.

When they opened, the hamburgers were really good but last few visits they are so greasy you can’t eat them. They need to consentrate on quality rather than quantity. We may not go back.

This place is beautiful inside. I honestly wasn't sure how affordable it was going to be but was pleasantly surprised by the prices and our waitress was very friendly. Will definitely be visiting again.

I love this place not just for the great food and tons of choices, but the beer flights as well. I've had tons of stuff from the menu including steaks and pizzas and it has all been amazing.

My brother and I go here frequently and from the food to the atmosphere to the staff, it's always a great experience. Special shout out to Allison she does a great job and we appreciate her excellent customer service!

Great place to grab a beer and watch the games

Recently I had my 30th birthday and we decided to go to The OX for my dinner celebration. I have to say I was very impressed with our service, drinks, and food. When I called initially to make reservations for a party of 20 at 7pm on a Friday night, I was concerned about being able to get one. But I had no issues reserving and they even called on the day of to confirm our reservations. We were seated right away and our waitresses were fantastic on getting us all drinks quickly as soon as we arrived. When it came time to order, our food was out within 15 mins of placing our order and all the food was delicious, hot, and amazing. All in all I was very happy with the service I had for my birthday and I felt like we were well taken care of. Definitely will go here again especially if I have a large party!

I got the jalapeno burger with avocado that was well prepared and delicious. I also got the Ox Mule, which was just okay. Service and atmosphere were great, and I will definitely go there again.

I've been here a few times now. The burgers are hands-down amazing. Everything else, not so much. The service is always slow and unenthusiastic, and everything else on the menu isn't great -- the salads (which are same price as the burgers) are soggy and unappealing, and the dessert, the cheesecake in particular, looked and tasted like it was sitting out all day. If the burgers weren't so darn good, I'd never come back.

Nice bar and grill. The burger was your average fare, but the fries were pretty good. Nice atmosphere, comfortable and enjoyable visit.

The french dip was amazing but our waiter did not attend to us at all. We had to flag him down to get anything. The atmosphere is nice easy to talk with people.

Took our hosts out to dinner while we were visiting them in town. We were happy we chose The Ox. The food was presented well and was delicious. We had two kids with us, who are very picky, but they easily found food to enjoy on the diverse menu. My Moscow Mule was mixed well. Of course dessert was a highlight with the kids..the adults all got in there with a spoon. We'll certainly come back when we're in town again.

Good atmosphere, but my pizza was charred a bit and tasted burned. Not good eats.

From the moment I walked into the ox, Oliva the bartender took very good care of me, Hands down some of the best services I’ve ever had. If I could give this 10 stars I would. Highly recommended her! She will go over and beyond. Super nice, respectful and to be honest I think she should be promoted.

One of our favorite restaurants in the Oxford/LO area! The Ragin Cajun Chix Sandwich is perfect every time, the fries are always on point and the Devils Dip is my favorite of an restaurants. One of the few restaurants in the area that is busy every night of the week and for good reason.

French Onion soup was amazing, Chicken Alfredo was like hot cream with noodles and chicken, drinks tasted good and werent watered down.

A comfortable sit-in bar atmosphere envelops you from the moment you walk in. It's reminiscent of BWW, but more snug. For a table for two, opt to sit on the street side, especially at night, and you will be treated with a colorful view of headlights going downtown. Here with friends? The OX can accommodate you! Servers are quick and very friendly, and the food is scrumptious.

Got the steak....filet mignon. It came out grey. Overcooked? Who knows. The manager gave me a get this... 5 dollar gift card for the place. Exactly what do you think i can use a 5 dollar gift card for in your establishment?? I'll tell you what.....absolutely nothing. I am local, living only a couple blocks away. I won't be returning to this restaurant.

Never a bad meal. A family fave. My son loves the fact that kids get to make their own pizza!

I've been here a couple of times now and I have been pretty impressed. They had Barbacoa nachos on special for one of my visits and not the other. I would love to see that on the regular menu! Friendly staff and and clean facilities. It is a very open space so I would not recommend it if you want to sit and visit with friends during their busier hours.

The chicken and dumpling was bland and the dumpling was orangish in color while being a horrible texture. The ox dip was bland with chopped/ compressed ( ribeye). The best part of my 15 $ lunch was the prepackaged crackers. Lesson learned to not order from there ever again.

The OX is a favorite spot in downtown. It has a good mix between upscale atmosphere and that sports bar feel. The service had always been great and the food to match. If you're undecided on the expansive beer selection, they have a 7-beer flight that comes out on an almost two feet tall wooden apparatus. My personal favorite entree is the Monte Cristo, there's nothing like it and it is absolutely amazing!

My husband and I love going here! They have a wide range of food choices so no matter what were in the mood for we can always find something we both want and they have so many drafts that we always get a sampler to try out a few!
